Commemorative Gifts

In Memory: Giving a gift in memory is a special way to honour the life of a friend or loved one while at the same time leaving a conservation legacy.

You may wish to establish a named fund or contribute to an existing fund within the Salt Spring Island Conservancy Endowment, which is held by the Victoria Foundation (please contact us for more information on how to do this).

Special Celebrations: Sending a gift to the SSI Conservancy in the name of family or friends is a wonderful way to celebrate weddings, birthdays, religious holidays and other special events.

When you make your gift, we mail a beautiful card acknowledging your generous gift to the person you are celebrating. We will also send you a tax receipt for your donation.

Such gifts can also be made online through CanadaHelps. They automatically generate your tax receipt and pass your message to us. If you choose the option, we will mail a card to the person you are honouring.
